Caroline Peoples
This is a scary story. I didn't know about it until today when this girl told me. I probably posted before about this chick Rebecca I know who is in a
psychiatric prison for snapping on her mother and stabbing her leading to her mother having to get plastic surgery as she cut her face up. I initially thought
she was only in prison for an altercation with a CTA worker when I sent a Christmas card two years back because I remembered when she was a child in the
neighborhood and would always say hi to me. She became a disturbed adult (possible schizophrenia), but I still take her calls from time to time as her family
rightfully don't communicate with her (rightfully so given the circumstances), but I still sort of feel bad. As an attorney, its always good to have contacts
with prisoners as they may have cases.
All the same, she told me she was once locked up with this woman named Caroline Peoples who was like the first black female serial killer in Chicago. I had
NEVER heard about Caroline Peoples, but apparently in 2004 this woman and her cousin who were from the south side of Chicago went on a killing spree, pretending
to be prostitutes to rob men. Whats sad is some of these guys only had like $100 on them. One of the men was not a John at all, but a disabled Mexican dude that
Caroline's cousin caregave for. I can't believe I had never heard about this story, but then again in 2004, I wasn't watching the news as a kid. I do remember
the more national story of Jodi Arias circa 2007 though. Whats so crazy about it all is that despite being a state prisoner, Caroline was transferred to another
state. They supposedly sent her to Florida. I tried looking her up in IDOC and the Florida Department of Corrections and found nothing. Rebecca then said to
check Alabama as she heard she may be there. I also found nothing in Alabama. Thats so insane. Almost like they don't want nobody to know where she is... Maybe
some of these Black Power groups want her out. I sort of can understand how some twisted people may view her as a freedom fighter. Has anybody seen that bizarre
movie with Leo and Sean Penn??? Sort of those vibes.
She used to write for this blog in 2019, but I haven't found anything more recent online.
