Generation Jones

Some propose a micro generation called Generation Jones form 1954 births to 1965. I think this group are indeed unique. The post war baby boom was already done
by the mid 50s and these people were way too young to go to Woodstock or be part of the counter culture. At the same time, unlike older Gen X who were kids in
the 70s and came of age in the 80s, these people largely came of age in the 70s. If the Boomers are the Stones and Beatles. Gen Jones are like Fleetwood Mac and
maybe the Clash and some punk.

Boomers- high school in 60s
Gen Jones- high school largely in 70s
Gen X- High school in 80s and 90s
Gen Y- High school in 00s. The very oldest graduated in the late 90s. 92 births are the start of people graduating in the 10s and that’s when you get more of
that zillennial feel. Most end millennials at 96 births. I would end at 94. 96 births are too young to have significant memories of key events of the 00s like
911 and basically their entire HS years in the 10s.
Gen Z-High school in the 10s and early 20s.
