Spring/summer films

I saw two films over Memorial Day weekend. Passenger and Obsession. Both horrors. Both were decent for their genre and its been a while since some decent horror
films were at the show. I can't wait to go see Backrooms this Friday. It looks so freaky!

Passenger was a horror film about van life. I like road trip films especially horror ones, so it was pretty chill. Obsession felt like a commentary on Gen Z
social awkwardness. This dude likes this girl. Doesn't have the courage to ask her out. Does a magic spell and she becomes crazy obsessed with him. It was sort
of like a horror/comedy. Some people screamed at certain scenes and the theatre was packed for the first time in years! This made my heart happy, but I also
love my space and love to go to the cinema when its totally empty.

Backrooms was invented by some anon on 4Chan, wonder who it was, maybe they're
mad for not making money on the idea.

one of my expressions became a meme, i coined the phrase imagine the smell
about seven years ago, in response to a pic showing child migrants being held in detention. feels weird how it caught on & never died, i never thought
anything of it at the time. at the time i was remembering how smelly it was when i was a little kid in school, and how much i hated it.

Backrooms reminds me of a property my father once owned, it was 12,000 square foot commercial building, once a health spa, it still had exercise equipment, and
a swimming pool area, it had carpet that was smelling moldy, u could tell the roof was leaking, a drop of water would fall somewhere, u could hear it, the place
was like a maze with no windows except for one corner, it would have been easy to hide in there.

yes i heard about the 4channer and hear he based on a room in wisconsin. that’s crazy. sadly 4chan isnt what it used to be in the mid 00s btard era back when
/pol/ was just /n/ and m00t moderated himself. then he nuked /n/ and turned it into trains. today, /pol/ destroyed 4chan. nobody even posts on /n/ and the rest
just is too busy. too many captchas too. sharty was decent at first now they have the captchas .
