women & their fur-babies
my sister feeds the cats the best stuff, including $20/lb chuck roast beef.
is this why beef prices are sky high now? there must be millions of women
doing this, each of them has a bunch of animals that they treat like people.
meanwhile i don't even get any, she gets it for free from the food assistance
program. this is for people in need, not fucking animals.
do u think cats & dogs care what the hell they are eating?

people including men and families with kids have had cats and dogs since the beginning of time. no clue why the manosphere suddenly decided pets were liberal
coded or women were rejecting them for pets. even if a woman has no pet, she won't suddenly love a guy.

@whiteguyinchinaTest Those Saudi guys love their pets more than anybody
tbh. They will drive in a Ferrari with their goat in the back. People have had pets way before white women.

9 Touching Epitaphs Ancient Greeks And Romans Wrote For Their Deceased Dogs
Today, a majority of Americans consider their pets not merely animal companions, but as bona fide members of the families, so it's no wonder that the death of a
dog, cat or other cherished creature can give rise to grief and sorrow as strong as those felt at the loss of a loved-one who is human.
But to have such tender feeling towards pets isn't some modern phenomenon indicative of a soft and overly-sensitive society. In fact, people have been mourning
over their deceased animals for much of recorded history -- and in no place is that more evident than in these fascinating, and totally heartbreaking, epitaphs
written for dogs of Ancient Greece and Rome.
Here are 9 of the most touching ancient epitaphs to dogs:
1. "I am in tears, while carrying you to your last resting place as much as I rejoiced when bringing you home in my own hands fifteen years ago." (Source)
Ancients weren't ashamed to openly weep for their departed dogs, as seen in this saddened pet-owner's final farewell to his companion.
2. "Thou who passest on this path, If haply thou dost mark this monument, Laugh not, I pray thee, though it is a dog's grave. Tears fell for me, and the dust
was heaped above me By a master's hand." (Source)
In an age before pet cemeteries, Greek and Romans would bury their pets along the roadside in marked graves like this one -- a mournful gesture they did not
take lightly.
3. "My eyes were wet with tears, our little dog, when I bore thee (to the grave)... So, Patricus, never again shall thou give me a thousand kisses. Never canst
thou be contentedly in my lap. In sadness have I buried thee, and thou deservist. In a resting place of marble, I have put thee for all time by the side of my
shade. In thy qualities, sagacious thou wert like a human being. Ah, me! What a loved companion have we lost!" (Source)
This text was found on the tombstone of Patricus, an Italian dog, written by his grieving owner. Note that, even in this era, pets were being likened to
humans.
4. "To Helena, foster child, soul without comparison and deserving of praise." (Source)
Domestic canines, particularly lap-dogs, were often referred to as "fosters", further suggesting that even by then adopted pets were considered members of the
family.
5. "This is the tomb of the dog, Stephanos, who perished, Whom Rhodope shed tears for and buried like a human. I am the dog Stephanos, and Rhodope set up a tomb
for me." (Source)
Here, a dog named Stephanos is mourned by his master, Rhodope, who wanted to make sure that all who read this epitaph know how much the animal meant to her.
6. "[Myia] never barked without reason, but now he is silent." (Source)
This dog's owner offers simple yet powerful words for his pet, addressing him as one might an equal.
7. "Here the stone says it holds the white dog from Melita, the most faithful guardian of Eumelus; Bull they called him while he was yet alive; but now his
voice is prisoned in the silent pathways of night." (Source)
For Eumelus, his deceased pet Melita was clearly more than just an animal, but rather a creature with a soul that's slipped beyond to a realm which can only be
described in poetic terms.
8. "Issa's more pert than Lesbia's sparrow love, Purer than kisses of a turtle-dove, More sweet than hundred maidens rolled in one, Rarer than wealthy India's
precious stone. She is the pet of Publius, Issa dear; She whines, a human voice you seem to hear." (Source)
In this longer epigraph, Publius's dog Issa is described in near mythological terms, celebrated in a painting or statue that has since been lost.
9. "Surely even as thou liest dead in this tomb I deem the wild beasts yet fear thy white bones, huntress Lycas; and thy valour great Pelion knows, and splendid
Ossa and the lonely peaks of Cithaeron." (Source)
Epitaphs for hunting dogs, like Lycas, often depict the animals not unlike one would a fellow soldier on the battlefield -- underscoring their importance to
their owner's survival.

Dogs and cats are invasive species which provide a temporary relief from childlessness. I just returned from South America and saw 10 dogs for every kid. They
are suddenly below replacement rate.
I'm sure it's insanely expensive. In general prices were about 25% lower than US but they make only about 30% as much as US. The math ain't mathing.

@doublefriedchickem I’m sorry but what do kids have to do with pets? There are so many married couples with dogs and families with dogs including old couples
with grown kids.
Likewise, there are many single people with no pets.

Why do so many wealthy people in England love dogs? Why did Queen Elizabeth love her corgis so much? I notice only non whites and poor whites hate dogs.
Likewise the manosphere because they feel rejected by women of their own race.

Also why is it that in the post WWII period, when people had many kids, families always had dogs? Poodle ownership was extremely popular in the 1950s.
I guess the manosphere can brainwash people into thinking dog ownership is a new concept or that women are rejecting them for dogs. Nope. Dogs or cats don’t
have crap to do with it.
Boomer culture introduced the “starter wife culture.”
Women saw marriage was no longer a secure institution when they could be left at any time for a younger model. Silent and GI generation men were shamed for
leaving their families by society. Yeah there were the rare weirdos like Hugh Hefner, but Hef wasn’t your average guy. The boomers and generations after them
celebrated men for being scumbags who left their wives.
See Donald Trump and even younger boomers like Brad Pitt. Women realized that modern men just weren’t good husbands. Likewise, men were told to sow their wild
oats. I honestly never ever remember any young Western men (neither in the USA or Europe) who wanted marriage at young ages, nor even the unfortunate looking
ones who didn’t have prospects to sleep around.
So yeah let’s stop spreading conspiracy theories that people are rejecting family life in favor of pet ownership.

The food at the food pantry is donated anyway. Some of it is already expired. It makes sense to give it to a dog rather than throwing it out which is what most
recipients end up doing anyway. They run a food pantry at the parking lot of my old church and I see what they have there.
Anyway its awesome there are sperm donors for women who really want kids. Otherwise, women can go abroad and find men not brainwashed by the manosphere too. The
manosphere is why I will NEVER get close to any American guy until 75. After the 2010s, I realized so many of my acquaintances were just brainwashed. The
manosphere is sadly big abroad too now, but most of those guys get over their hate once they meet a woman. In America, even married men subscribe to these
beliefs that all women are these HR nightmare monsters rejecting kids for dogs.

Opps I meant American guys under 75 or actually under 80. American guys of the silent and GI generations may have had their flaws, but they didn't hate women
like many of the manosphere Gen Y dudes or the starter wife culture boomers.
Anyway, the manosphere is mostly late Gen X and Gen Y men who never approached women yet somehow feel rejected so dog pill becomes sort of a cope for them
rather than just admitting their social skills were off and if we were to do a study, an equal amount of women without pets would have also been put off by
them.
Really if anything is to blame for social skills of today its porn culture. The old script guys of Gen X and early Gen Y would snag some dirty magazines at
Borders or a gas station. Sometimes, they would order Girls Gone Wild. If they were really adventurous, they would hit up an adult book shop. Then guys born
after 1986 until roughly 1994 who I refer to as a transitional porn generation got heavily into Red Tube and youporn. These websites made them even more
desensitized. Finally, many of the boys born after 95 have dropped out of dating entirely and have parasocial relationships with online hookers via Only Fans
and other websites. They have their parents to handle all adult tasks and rather than go to a club and try to get laid or joining hobby aimed communities to
meet a social circle, they just get off by paying for custom content and voyeurism on instagram. Somehow, pets are to blame though or women in the workforce
because they were forced to support themselves due to the lack of provider men amongst younger generations.

Of course boomer men were the first generation to entirely reject the idea that marriages are forever. They pushed the idea that women were replaceable every
decade or so. I blame the sluts though that are willing to be some old divorced dude's second act and take on a domestic role while the old man gets to be
Patriarch 2.0. I can respect the old school gold diggers like Anna Nicole who took the old man ready to die and just got that money. Anna sadly died, but before
she did she went on to have a beautiful daughter who looks just like her with Larry Birkhead, a nice mild mannered man 6 or 7 years her junior. The level up
modern women are procreating with the old guys rather than getting that money and running off with the young guy.
I don't respect any man who lives his wife or goes and has more kids as an old man to cut his first marriage children out of an inheritance. At least them cat
ladies are hurting nobody except arguably themselves.
Athena Strand's scumbag father in Texas left the mother and she was being watched by some 20 something "stepmom" who wasn't watching her and fought with her, so
the little girl ran out of the house to get raped and murdered by a pedo Fedex driver. Maybe we should focus as a society more on condemning scums like this
versus the librarian who just wants to go home and chill with her cats and stay away from modern men. There are so many kids being abused and tortured as we
speak by shit families.
With that being said, I rather have some people have no kids and no pets than be negligent. Some people shouldn't procreate or they should only do so with the
right person.

passport bro culture was also a downfall of western society, but hey western women can get passports too.
That Athena Strand was crying for her mother in that video when she was being raped and killed. She wasn't crying for her father or the scum stepmom that at a
young age was willing to fuck with a dude who had kids. Then again she was a hilljack too with kids from a previous relationship. I will take a million
communist librarian cat ladies and dog lovers over these folks any day.
