Carlson’s latest statements are very much in line with his latest critical stand against the Trump administration. They are also significant as Carlson said he believed the lie himself as a Fox News anchor and spread lies about Muslims on TV. He has also declared that he no longer supports the Republican Party. When Hakim asked if he thinks the United States is complicit in the ongoing war, he said, “Of course, we paid for it.” “That’s one of the reasons I’m upset by it. That’s my country. These are my tax dollars. This is my reputation. This is the moral authority of the nation that my ancestors built. So, yes I feel very implicated and enraged by it,” he said. The disillusionment post-war However, Carlson does not have any anger toward Israelis because he said, “They’re delusional.” That “delusion” he added isn’t a Israeli-specific phenomenon—the United States is very familiar with it. “We felt a little bit of that after 9/11,” he said. “The net result was to convince Americans that they were under siege from global Islam.” He admitted that he himself has peddled such lies on television, calling the Muslim community crazy, a suicide cult created by Mohammed. “I was hysterical, I believed that.” This is why he understands why Israelis believe that all Arabs are out to kill them. “We must kill them before they kill us. They believe that,” he added. Carlson, who started his podcast after being fired from Fox News Channel in 2023, appears to be going through a disillusionment since US President Donald Trump decided to join Israel’s war against Iran. He apologised to his listeners for backing Trump in the 2024 elections. In another podcast, he even used an expletive against Trump and said, “I don’t take you seriously.” MAGA supporters and devout Republicans are predictably upset with Carlson. Far-Right Laura Loomer called him “full blown Islamist propagandist” and accused him of trying to “destroy MAGA and the GOP”. One openly anti-Islam X user turned Carlson into a woman wearing bright red lipstick and a keffiyeh. Carlson is also receiving praise for changing his mind for the better and retracting the past rhetoric on Islam. Meanwhile, most didn’t seem to believe in his political pivot. “Wow. His hate for one small ethnoreligious group trumps all common sense to a point where he wants to side with a group who really do have the numbers to destroy the West. Now obviously Iran as a global threat is exaggerated as the Shia aren't the ones doing terrorist attacks in the West, but think of all the societies (both eastern and western) that have been destroyed by Sunni militants. Without sounding like a full-on conspiracy theorist, I believe he's probably a Freemason, and has fully embraced the tenets of Freemasonry. One of the core tenets of Freemasonry is that people across the world, of all religions, are united to the extent the believe is a divine creator, and the rest is just details. I know a few people have pointed that out on various forums about the gnosticism. That story that he told about the demon attacking him in his sleep or something was crazy. I can believe he is a free mason. Overall, Tucker is a weird guy. I was shocked to learn he was born in CA.His vibes scream east coast. His background story reads like a script sort of and his origins are pretty unknown. His father who was adopted by wealthy New Englanders worked in government/diplomacy IIRC. Meanwhile, his mom seems to have some Swiss Italian origins. Tucker used to wear a bow tie and grew up with Hunter Biden. Somehow, he claimed to grow up Episcopalian (the American term for Anglican). Out of the whole Fox and CNN lineups, Tucker was always just in his own world. Not funny how Lou Dobbs and personalities like O'Reilly were, but just sort of awkwardly stiff. He has gotten crazier and looser as he has gotten older and the transformation has sort of been extreme so I wouldn't be surprised if something behind it aside from just trying to appeal to the tin foil theory crowd at home. Greta Van Susteran and her husband were actually involved in Scientology, so Tucker as a free mason wouldn't be crazy. I also think he has very limited interactions outside of the USA and outside of his politically connected circles. If he had more experiences, he wouldn't be saying the stuff he is currently saying.
