Tony is a talented bassist in his own right, and he also made a name for himself as David Bowie's producer of (and occasional bassist on) many successful albums over a 40-year period, culminating in the Grammy-winning ★ album in 2016, for which this instrument series is named. Tony's reaction to the Blackstar bass is priceless: "The tone controls are extremely parametrically varied, giving the sound from the bass a far more varied [tone] than any other bass I've owned. I played a little with the knobs and couldn't believe what I was hearing." His fans have been losing their minds on Facebook, with thousands of reactions and hundreds of comments.
