I am so sick of this quote below from Americans:

“I’m also a firm believer that if we put our best athletes in (soccer) and gave them five to 10 years, we win the World Cup every year.”


Anyway, that guy is not the first to say it and its annoying af. 

Then this quote is some out of touch boomer ish:

Seriously, most people these days put their sons in soccer.

What I think is beautiful about soccer is you can be short or tall and excel at it. Even too skinny, it’s not a problem. Messi is short and he has become an
icon. Haaland is really tall on the other hand. It’s really all about skill and discipline. 

With American football, you have to be burly and tall. Basketball, you have to be tall and sort of lean. Maybe only baseball can be any height and different
body types.
