I even saw a tear in his eye when I explained what I was going through. He really consoled me and I will always remember him. Other professors told me to seek therapy. When I started comparing myself to classmates and spiraling that they may be further than me in outlining,this professor told me simple advice that worrying about them would never help me accomplish my goals. After that, I stopped worrying and started excelling. I will never forget his advice and I apply it all the time. Competitive people are usually not happy people.
