They work and work well and make you feel chill, but if you start taking them as habit, rebound anxiety when you come down can be a bitch. When I was 19, I took them having for panic attacks. Took me a while to get off of them. Ativan is terrible. Xanax is not as bad because doesn't last as long. I have had a bottle of 30 Xanax for like a year. Happy to get off it! With that being said, doctors who don't want to give them period are nuts. They aren't opioids. Sometimes they are a necessary tool.
