I am against late trimester abortions, but plan B is a harmless drug. It's not the abortion drug and should be made more easy to get. RU486 is the abortion pill and while it's actually causing an abortion unlike plan B, if somebody really wants an abortion then I would think plan B is less invasive than an actual surgical abortion. I don't get why the anti abortion crowd are pushing so hard against ru486 because the reality is that being against it will lead to more late trimester abortions. All the same, abortion is a whole different topic and in an ideal society, kids would not have premarital sex, but we know that may never happen. On to adults. The childless by choice have always struck me as interesting because they seem to lack a desire to nurture. It's one thing to not have kids because you never found the right person or you were sterile, but the married couples who choose childlessness have always come across to me as odd. It's not a life I would voluntarily choose. At the same time, they are hurting nobody but arguably themselves. Divorced people and those who have kids with multiple partners on the other hand are destroying so many lives and creating so much division. I don't hate Trump and can't stand the orange man bad crowd, but realistically he was a bad husband. He had kids with 3 different women. Although he acts like all his kids get along, there are competing branches of a family tree. He may have enough money to keep everybody happy, but the average Joe who has kids with multiple women does not. First marriage kids will wonder why the father left the mother and couldn't keep his dick in his pants. They will resent second marriage kids. It's more dogs to one bone. Aside from the financial aspect, it's just a dehumanizing situation for children especially because many of these boomers who created broken homes grew up in nuclear households and never had to have brothers by another mother. Sometimes half siblings can work when they grow up in the same household, i.e. if the mother marries again and they all grow up in the same household. It still gets awkward when somebody has to say, "My brother/sister is going with their dad this weekend." Somebody will always be the odd person out. Now I am talking about men who sleep around, but obviously women do it too. I have a former friend who has 4 kids by 3 guys. Imagine how screwed up her kids are to all have different dads. Yet conservatives are attacking AOC for breaking up with her fiancé and freezing her eggs. She is legit hurting nobody.
