I don't know enough about this case to make a judgement. The plain reality is though children were murdered, the mother is in prison for murdering them, and the husband quietly remarries after 3 of his kids were killed. Just chilling. I personally wouldn't be able to move on so fast. Sadly, many times people who murder kids get away with it by saying there was no intent, i.e. they only meant to hit them not kill them. I don't know enough about this woman or her history or if she was on drugs. It's just a sad sad story. She has to live with this the rest of her life. Back in the day, there was the Susan Smith story. She tried to blame a black guy IIRC. Just rolled her car down with the kids in it so they could drown. In my mom's town in Italy back in the 90s, there was this troubled woman from a troubled family who murdered her kid. Troubled in that one sister shacked up with a Moroccan (cool dude, but we are talking about some traveling salesman), one brother married a Polish woman (in a time when Poland was broke af and most Polish women were visa seekers before the EU) and joined the Jehovah's witnesses, and one brother and his whole family were murdered by a nephew when they went to purchase a property in another town. All the same, this woman was schizophrenic supposedly. She was giving the child a bath and stabbed him to death. She only got house arrest in Italy, but she is no longer in our village. She was like banished somewhere else and institutionalized I believe. My mom and I usually only go to the cemetery in our town, but there is one in the neighboring town too with many people we also know. We went to see the grave of a friend this lady who died fairly young and was a good friend of my grandmother's. She was much younger than my grandmother, but always called my grandmother when we were in the States and was like one of the first people to always visit us and still bring gifts like back in the day. Anyway, the guy who does landscaping at our house sometimes was showing us around. I saw the grave of this little girl and it was a fairly new grave. I say grave, but these are all mausoleums with pictures on them. He then told us this little girl died because her mom went nuts and brought her in the woods and abandoned her and liked tied her to a tree. Some of these child killing stories are like demonic possession horror stories. At the end of the day, she made a choice as a grown woman not a teenager or not even somebody in their early 20s to have 3 kids. I think the simplest truth is she was a schizophrenic. Schizos can get violent. This doesn’t mean every mentally ill person does harm, but schizophrenia is the one mental illness where treatment and the right treatment is necessary and a positive change of circumstances even cannot make things better. Having a sense of community can make things better for them, but even then they relapse. Many of these people become schizophrenic from years of hard drug abuse. We just don’t know her history. Supporters want to believe there is a simple explanation like post partum. I’m just not buying the post parton argument. This doesn’t mean I think her husband was great and this is just an all around sad story. He remarried this bizarre tiktok fertility doctor who sort of looks like the wife, but uglier and a bigger nose. Not saying he should never have a life, but that he was able to move on so quickly when 3 of his kids were murdered just sits weird with me. Regardless of any motive or mental illness or any circumstances, three kids are dead and the mother facing a murder conviction. I feel terrible for the family. Another random possibility with the child killers is they possibly found lovers and want to escape their old life. Not saying this was the case with her, but it happens.
