Jelly roll destroyed his career

He attacked Trump on Kimmel the other night by calling Trump a fat pig. The problem is that will not work with his fan base as a country singer. Country music
fans tend to lean right. The Dixie Chicks now so woke they call themselves the Chicks learned the hard way.

He was better off not saying anything! Its even risky for rappers. Either way, taking political stances risks alienating 50 percent of the country so if his fan
base lean slightly more conservative, he possibly alienated 60 percent of his fans.

BTW, him and his wife now ex look like the quintessential American gen Y couple from middle America. The kind of people you see sitting in a Cracker Barrel or
Buffalo Wild Wings. Sad because his wife would be attractive minus the tattoos. He looked ok fat, but looks ugly slim. When the extremely obese (300 plus
pounds) lose weight, they look weird for a while after. Only Perez Hilton managed to look decent after weightloss, but Perez has a great classic phenotype.

Sorry to make a crude comment zerosugar but

All of these stars have various metaphorical penises in their mouths hands and offices at any one time

That is just by design, they are not independent creatures but tools of whoever

So when someone says jump they jump

Who really knows what jellyroll thinks or doesn't

Maybe the record company is trying to see if there is an anti trump country music market

Jellyroll reminds me of Eminem. Eminem is a white man who grew up in Detroit and raps. His main fan base are not really progressive hipsters, so when he said
anti Trump crap, it really hurt him. Same with Robert De Niro. Its one thing when some leftist actress or comedienne with a largely far left fan base says
something bad about Trump, but people who have the forgotten man and woman as their fan base should really be careful before giving political opinions. Even
Cher can talk crap because people know she is just a nut job old singer whose daughter became trans.

Elvis understood he risked alienating fans when he declined to talk politics when asked his opinion in an interview. He obviously supported Civil Rights by
demanding his black musicians and backup singers be treated with respect when traveling with him. He maintained great relations with the Black community, but
wasn't dumb to alienate others through talking about politics like the war during a very sensitive time in the country. Dolly Parton understood this and refused
to throw Trump under the bus when baited by a reporter.

Jellyroll and Eminem's aesthetic attracts MAGA type fans, so yeah its career suicide.
