9/11 was 25 years ago today

I remember it like it was yesterday.  It was my generation's Pearl Harbor moment.  The resulting War on Terror ended in what looks like victory, but it's hard
to define victory or mark a precise end date for it.  If you consider the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan to be the end, then the War on Terror was twenty
years long.  It was a war for peace, and the pendulum has swung so far in favor of government power that you simply can't exist as a terrorist anymore-- with
the use of advanced A.I. by the government for targeting, terrorism is simply futile.  Now your biggest risk of randomly dying is nuclear war.  I don't know
which I prefer.  Do you?
