I like public libraries and think the post office is necessary when private carriers have their issues, but yeah public schools should become a relic of the
past. Property taxes are crazy and the kids are learning nothing. In Chicago even in the "good" areas these schools are underperforming and many of these
teachers take home six figures. I support vouchers for religious schools, language based schools, home schools, etc. Public schools also expel many people so no
they aren't open to all. Parents shouldn't be forced into the public school system for lack of money.
Then again, these private schools wonder why they are closing. These are the fees at a Catholic K-8 school near my home. Seriously, people these days don't have

I guess they need to raise tuition this high when they have to pay for lawsuits for priests. Shame. What's happening in Chicago with the Catholic schools and
churches and this evil Cardinal Blase Cupich is terrible. He should be ashamed of himself. It's insane a pope from Chicago was selected because now Cupich will
never face any consequences.

Also these tuition rates are clearly made for households where both parents work and make good salaries. Heaven forbid just one parent works or it is a single
parent household.
