32 hour work week
I hope this happens. I hope they have government buildings shut on Friday too with maybe just an offshore agent who answers in cases of emergency or even an at
home rotating agents. Work week should only me M-Th. Americans have gotten too obese working and too depressed. I'm not some Bernie bro type, but he is right
here. Sadly, many corporations in America are like quasi governments and this may never happen. Big law are complicit because they give these scums the oxygen
they need. lol, notice how many of the boomers who run these large corporations have a bachelors degree at most, but worked their way up the ranks. Try doing
that today. For generations after the boomers to achieve prestige, you need at minimum a graduate degree from a top university plus legacy connections or you
have to be some diversity hire that will allow the corporation to virtue signal. I also noticed that now in America LGBTQplus is treated like a race when they
make a choice to promote. lol. BTW, woke corporatism is destroying America. It takes the worst policies from the right wing and left wing and combines them into
one.

I work about 14 hours a day, 5 days a week, and 8 hours a day on weekends for a total of 86 hours a week. The 32-hour work week is some special snowflake Gen Z
B.S., in my view. Young people these days have no interest in hard work and their laziness is what got us into the whole socialist thread that is permeating
the current political scene. DSA people think that government can just print money and give people money for nothing. I would rather work myself nearly to
death than do nothing every day.

Yeah like any of this will matter in the accounting field,
They made me work Saturdays. Once I work at Indian run office
and they wanted me to work Sundays but they fired me.
That culture will never die.

Sugar is right, executives get to where they are by
networking and having connections. Hard work is
not a guarantee of anything, just like having degrees
in college is not a guarantee of anything.

Yes some people work super hard and have nothing to show for it. Sadly, the idea of the American dream is dying. Large mergers in recent years have turned some
corporations into quasi governments with little to no real competition. Hustle culture is starting to take over. Anyway so many people take off a few hours a
week anyway, so 32 hours won’t make much of a difference aside from giving people a better work/life balance.
