My daily dose of pessimism/nihilism is actually coming true. Assume you are getting scammed at all times and that no one gives a shit about you or anything
else that doesn't affect them. Promises are worthless and people are unreliable. What is a lone samurai to do?

At least over there they don't pretend they're not trying to cheat you
Business in US has become predatory in almost all aspects. For example, creatinf Addiction is a valid business proposal. No such thing as quality or good
service - no one cares.

For example, my buddy from California called me yesterday complaining about the local FDA officer charging 275 an hour to oversee loading of a container. He
oays this dude about 700 dollars a day for like three hours work. He said this guy just sits there, and then goes take a nap after.
Driving past two separate construction sites 4 times daily for past two weeks, I aaw a crew of 15 people, with 8-10 sitting on their ass each time I drove by.
Of course the only person working was a Mexican. That job must have cost like 150k a week in tax money.

part is labor cost and demographics. China is cheap and labor is easy to get. There is massive deflation and government makes it so that labor remains cheap.
They are not a consumer based economy.
My other friend runs an online store in China, he has 30 staff whose job is to do customer service. They are on call via messaging app all day to answer random
questions about cleaning products from random grandmother's.
You would never get such service in USA unless like private banking or some other concierge service. In US I have accountant problems, payroll problems, no one
answers. This is high labor cost and encouraging automation. It sucks as a consumer. It probably sucks as a business owner too because who wants to run a
shitty business except wall street pricks. But people have to cut costs now due to war.
I have more examples but no one reads this and no one cares.
