i have the united card as well, but no longer use credit cards. interest is not
worth it. anytime i am offered a credit card, i reject.

your stuff every month and play the points game a bit.
I've got enough Marriott points for 4+1 nights at the Ritz-Carlton in the
Maldives. Probably the best points redemption possible - it's like $3700 a
night normally.
