I spilled beer on my MacBook Pro keyboard and now my Wi-Fi doesn't work properly
This is the most annoying thing ever. I can live with the partially broken
keyboard, however, the bigger issue is that I now get packet loss and wildly
varying speeds online. It ranges from instantaneous to never when loading a web
page. Unless the repair shop can replace the keyboard and logic board, I'm
going to have to retire this laptop. What a shame, and an example of wasteful
consumerist product design. For my next laptop, I may have to go with a Linux
system running on a rugged chassis such as the Getac 600 or something. But that
takes away the convenience of the MacBook Pro, which is slim and light. I also
love having one system with macOS available when I use Linux on my workstation
and Android for my phone.
Can I get some recommendations on laptops in the $2k and up range? Thanks.

My MacBook Pro farted out while I was sailing around the Canaries last month. I
brought it to a computer shop in Estepona last Monday, and dude rolled his eyes
telling me that these are shit machines. He managed to fix it - was a fried
charger thing in the laptop - and only charged 180 euro, so it wasn't so bad. He
kept saying how much the new MacBooks suck though.

I am a mindless Apple lemming brainwashed from decades of using macOS. I am
hypnotized by the ease and convenience of Apple products, even though I have no
control over any aspect of them. The MacBook Pro is slimmer and smaller, but
with a bigger screen, and is also a premium offering vs. the Windows options.
Like Thanos, my choice of another MacBook Pro is...inevitable. #Parody
