here are the facts:
-went to ecuador;
-learning spanish;
-flying to USA to take some sort of investment banking exam;
does he want to help drug lords launder money or something? how are these not

There's still a lot of professional remote work available. If you're okay with
being on the downlow, it's easy to do from outside the US with a VPN. I've run
into a lot of self-styled 'digital nomads' from the US recently in Portugal,
Spain, and Morocco who are doing this. I've had a couple of contract gigs where
it's been wink-wink, don't-ask-don't-tell about working from abroad.
