The question should be what should the attorneys have done. Long before I saw
shouldalearnedmath’s handle, I was doing some reading 1L year and realize
there are things much worse than math. Law school was nothing like pleasurable
undergrad reading about interesting topics.
Hence, we should have learned math well or at least majored in a real science in
undergrad so we could get into some sort of medical program. I actually did good
in my math prereqs in undergrad and was always decent at math getting As and Bs,
but just never memorized it beyond taking exams. I’m not somebody that can
look at a problem today and solve it.
