I've gone from living in a cramped studio 9 years ago above hookers and Japanese businessmen to living in the same compound as my millionaire clients. Didn't

market here.
Their big boss got attacked by a water bottle by one of the security guards at one of his subsidiaries because he took away all their money, then called the
cops of them, then got dragged into court, lost, and became branded a "lao lai" (lifetime debtor) for owing like $5 million USD to various people. Now he can't
stay in nice hotels, take high-speed rails, or go on airplanes, and probably just takes cabs from province to province with his hidden money.
So yea, your fortunes could change for the better on a dime too. Also, the export business won't be going away, Trump 47 or no, so it's not a bad idea to
leverage those China hand export skills for Yiwu in Zhejiang. Maybe you could get into the Trump paraphrenalia export biz as the one American who can QC for
t-shirts and signs having the right Engrish?

It's technically a conference, Andy. Don't you have booze and hookers at your cyberlaw conferences? You're just not hanging out with the right people. Last time
it was Singapore, and people were trying to find girlfriends on the street. I do not do that, instead ate way too much Chinese food including shark fin two
nights in a row. I don't get into that but definitely have some stories. Including the old Japanese bro who told everyone in the conference that he caught an
STD from a KTV in ahanghai and now his wife wouldn't let him come back to Japan. Everyone talked about this afterward and we decided he was really a sad
disturbed man.

Lol. My policy is that while the law firm is in trial, everyone gets what they want, up to and including hookers and blow. I don't think I can manage

I stayed three years with a Chinese company.
I had a jealous, scheming colleague who blindsided me with a smear campaign just to push me out so she can be seen as the star in that product area.
You need an exit plan or a key ally. It’s only natural that someone is plotting to push you out.
