Kamala Harris is my least favorite person
We went to the same law school. She spoke at my law school graduation when she
was District Attorney of San Francisco. She then moved up to Attorney General
of California. Now she is Vice President and running for President. I don't
have a problem with her trajectory, it's just that I think she's a narcissist
and an awful person. As with all professional politicians, everything is a
vehicle for her to increase her own profile. This is the downside of American
democracy; to attain an elected office, fame-seeking behavior is incentivized
and the sociopath is rewarded, not the better person who actually deserves the
office. It makes sense that Kamala and Gavin Newsom are represented by the same
political consulting firm in California. They are both horrible people and I
would never want either of them to be President.

This all seems new to me. I thought the VP only becomes the candidate
automatically if the president dies or leaves office. She is an attractive woman
who is obviously ambitious, but I also do not see her as president. She just
does not have the character. I think a primary should have been held. Sucks
Biden was basically forced to get out of the race. I ultimately think him or
Trump can accomplish much of the same. Kamala seems like a wild card and she
obviously could not win the nomination of her party in 2019.

P.S. I know many people here do not believe in astrology and I also don't live
my life by it, but I noticed many presidents have lots of Leo in their charts.
Leo is an attention seeking sign that makes me uncomfortable and its very
narcissistic.

The more I think about it, the more I'm not a fan of the primary system. It's
what gave us the dullard and the maniac in the first place. Only crazy people
vote in the primaries, and I've had quite enough of their thoughts and choices.
Harris will not make a good president, but I'd take a predictably poor president
over the last seven years of utter nonsense.

Well I have doubts about democracy as a whole. I am more of a monarchist because
democracy oftentimes just leads to insane populism and sometimes after a few
generations communism, but people who claim to care about saving it (hello dems)
should want a primary rather than appointing a candidate. In Illinois, the
people who vote in primaries are sort of cable news fanatics. Anyway, I like
monarchs because I noticed monarchy in the Middle East has led to relative
peace. Likewise, monarchs have a loyalty only to the people and God not to
political parties. I will not go too into depth because that would take too much
typing.
Not to get off topic, I am obviously too young to remember what happened with
LBJ and Gerald Ford. I actually was not born back then. However, those were two
totally different situations. JFK was murdered. LBJ took over and later decided
he would not fun. Of course with Gerald Ford, he took over because Nixon left
office and ran himself losing to Carter. Biden has not left office though.
I still think Biden was a stable president. Nothing remarkable, but stable. I
believe in all my heart the inflation we are experiencing now is a result of
Trump. I say this as somebody who voted for Trump because I did not want Hillary
to go to war in Syria against Russia and her failures as Secretary of State were
too extreme to ignore. All the same, I will not vote for Kamala.
https://truthout.org/articles/trump-erased-millions-of-possible-ppp-fraud-flags-in-last-days-in-office/
"An explosive new investigation of data from the Paycheck Protection Program
(PPP) finds that, in Donald Trump’s final days in office, his administration
rushed to eliminate oversight for loans which were flagged for potential fraud
or further investigation — and wiped flags from nearly every one of the
largest PPP loans.
As the Project on Government Oversight (POGO) revealed in a report published
Wednesday, over the course of several weeks before President Joe Biden was
inaugurated, the Trump administration went on a spree of eliminating flags on
PPP loans, the majority of which went directly to personally enriching the
richest Americans. Officials in the Small Business Administration (SBA)
eliminated 2.7 million flags between December 2020 and January 2021, as the
administration was in its lame duck period.
Special preference was given to the largest loans, which often also went to the
largest corporations. On January 16, 2021, four days before President Joe
Biden’s inauguration, Trump’s SBA wiped 99 percent of special review flags,
which were given out to every loan above $2 million for separate investigatory
purposes."

P.S. I still will not vote for Trump. Neither him nor Kamala deserve me leaving
work to vote. I will also not wake up early to hit the polls and will not be
going in the evening before they close when I am trying to relax.
