Most international students are very conscientious. They ask people in my
position a lot of questions before they do things like accept a job…or even an
unpaid internship. They’re scared to death of losing their visa status.

yeah legal immigration hurts american jobs even more than illegal and both
trump and musk support it. the legal immigrants are paid good salaries, but
still below what americans with the same educational backgrounds would demand.
americans working in tech really have fears.
