This reminds me, I need to enable the archives feature. The intention was to
display the last two months of posts in all forums. However, with less action
in Thunderdome than expected, there are only 9 posts showing up. I'll fix that
as soon as possible.

Yeah there are a decent number of us from back in the day. The whole vibe seems

The server logs indicate that there are a lot of people reading the site, just
not that many actual participants. I have no idea why that is, but you can see
for yourself that there are typically 100+ guests online. Lots of links come
through from Facebook; it appears people are posting particular posts on
Facebook that folks then click on.

I think it's like a high school reunion. You can let go of all the mild tension
you had with people, it's just the one or two major assholes you still carry a
grudge against. It's good for the Zen of the place, but probably not good for

P.S. I would estimate there are around 10,000 visitors per month on here. It
might be more considering that the last 90 days of logs show 150,000 requests
and a 40 megabyte log file. It's so weird that so many people passively lurk
without engaging, but I guess that is normal.

P.P.S. I was curious, so I just ran an analysis of my logs and determined that
in the last few months, there have been 2,019 unique non-bot visitors, each of
which has visited between 1 and about 100 times. Thus, there are many repeat
visitors, and a readership of a couple thousand people. Interesting!
