25F today, rode my Yamaha three miles to the grocery store, had to rest my hands
on some frozen goods, the pain is bad. Snow is good too, seems crazy but i do
it.

search, happens every year early winter
my bike had a dead battery when i came out of the store, so i started walking
home, then a young couple stopped & helped me. hate that feeling. then i packed
a new battery & tools in a leather attaché case & jogged back to the store,
wearing shorts. two cop cars boxed me in, seems people were reporting me. cop
was a jerk, asked me if i lived in that group home, where those w/ mental
illness live. also asked me if i wanted a ride in the cop car, i laughed &
declined, how stupid u think i am. got to the store, it was getting dark, snow
was falling & cold was worse. tried to yank the battery, oh my god i can't get
the screws off, too tight, a wire broke, oh my god i'm screwed, but it
worked.
