doublefriedchicken from private IP, post #12366752 /all Just returned from a 2 week trip to Europe Unlike you expats and remote worker wanderers, I don't travel overseas much. Just my 4th trip in my life. Anyway, some observations: Visited Czech, Austria, Italy Prices lower everywhere, especially Czech. Pretty much all white/middle east. Didn't see a lot of asians, blacks or americans. Tons of couples. Middle easterns tended to be in packs of guys but no one else. No single unaccompanied women. Much less phone usage. Food was excellent but every restaurant had very similar food options by country. Took wife and 3 kids and we didn't kill each other. Good trip. Thu, 09 Jan 2025 12:44:18 -0800

zerosugar from private IP Reply #18164681 If I can save anybody the aggravation of being scammed, whatever you do, do not rent a car from Avis at Fiumicino airport in Rome. I would avoid Avis altogether actually as a travel tip. They engage in hardcore price dripping. These claims are crazy. If there are any lawyers who read this with experience in class actions, a case against Avis may be a huge money maker. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g656615-d18225714-r918653114-Avis_Fiumicino_Airport-Fiumicino_Province_of_Rome_Lazio.html Fri, 10 Jan 2025 05:27:14 -0800
