There are some wealthy people in Martirano too. There is a guy from our town married to a lady from Martirano, but please continue to just paint us all as meaningless peasants. Both my grandparents could read and write and were educated. My grandmother was actually fortunate to write as many ladies her age and slightly older from our town did not.
