Some have adapted and learned about new technologies, but there will always be the people who will struggle to even understand some of the newer inventions. I took patent law in law school. I do not have a hard science background though, so I could have never practiced in this field. My professor was a terrible person who I also took an Entertainment Law class with where we basically just learned about copyright laws.
