I honestly know more people in Australia than I probably do in Chicago. It's just crazy. Kanye West's gf Bianca Censor is also Italian Australian. All the same, even before many people from various European and Middle Eastern countries went to Australia, it was originally a British penal colony so I guess some of the stuff about the country makes sense.
