When I first got licensed I applied for some shitty job. I kept getting these phone calls and nobody was answering. I assumed it was a telemarketer. I started screaming to stop calling my phone. Then I get a call back. It’s some attorney saying his headpiece was broke. I apologized for screaming at him, but told him I thought he was a telemarketer. He then said it was ok and laughed and said he is an expert of getting yelled at my Italians because his wife is Italian. This bothered me so much. I didn't say anything on the phone. I just felt paralyzed in embarrassment to be belittled as a lesser white who can’t control myself compared to him, a composed man of Northern European descent. I looked him up online. He was a straight up white guy from Ohio.
