Much of my interests were in eastern topics. Namely, just learning about different religions and ethnic groups in the Middle East. I guess topics surrounding sexuality can sometimes be difficult to write about, especially in 2024. A part of western history and sexuality I do find interesting is the castrati. I was shocked such a practice existed in fairly recent times and even more shocked that they were considered sex symbols.
