This country is too fiscally conservative and socially liberal. also many of the scotch irish protestants have this sort of serf slave mentality. they want to bow down to their masters and give businesses more rights than humans. businesses ultimately will not exist without consumers. when people aren’t spending so much on healthcare, they will spend money on other stuff and stimulate the economy.
