Abruzzo is sort of a transitional fly over region (not really southern or northern feel or even quite a Roman central feel), but I managed to take some decent pics of the mountains and again, Chieti is even older than Rome. It’s just a weird city because too large for the quaintness of small town life and too small for big city conveniences.
