Manslaughter charge against Daniel Penny dismissed (3) marlon from private IP, post #13168187 - Fri, 06 Dec 2024 14:58:38 -0800
./posts/all/1733525918-134.txt:Reply #18301456 Crazy. What about criminally negligent homicide? Isn't that the same thing as involuntary manslaughter? If it requires criminal negligence, then I predict he gets off because it was an accident without subjective criminal intent. He may still be civilly liable to the victim's heirs for ordinary negligence, but I see this as different from a criminally negligent act, like shooting into the air and inadvertently hitting someone.
