In my own experience, I know this guy in Italy who is only 28 and his parents are quite a bit older than mine. He is absolutely nuts. I mean just about the craziest individual I have ever met. He also has a best friend a year younger who also has old parents. Extremely mentally ill too. Two psychos unable to work or function in the real world. The Italian guy was never disciplined though. His father took off with another woman and didn't want to be bothered. The mom never ever corrected his behavior and even now as an adult does nothing when he abuses her. She just wants to satisfy him so he leaves her and her new boyfriend alone, so she lets him do everything he wants and has to fully support him. Pathetic.
