At the same time, the 12 days of Christmas are still going until the Epiphany. Some believe Christmas even extends until the baptismal which is the Sunday after the Epiphany, but yes in the USA people pack up after new year’s day. Last year when I was in Italy in early February, Christmas decorations were still going strong and I loved it. I hate winter after the holidays. Late January and February are the most miserable times. I’m not taking down my tree until after the Epiphany.
