To see violent "protesters" attacking law enforcement in the streets and Lord Newsom saying/doing nothing only underscores that he only cares about his own image, and not the public interest or law and order. He had an opportunity to smooth things over regarding his delusional future political ambitions by calling up the National Guard, but instead he's going to make the President invoke the Insurrection Act to use state troops on behalf of the Federal government. Should never happen, and it's a sad day in America when it does.
