My cousin is paralyzed and used to get them and we had to bring her to the hospital as my mom noticed when she was visiting and my mom changed her. You never really know what people are going through. My mom and I cared for both of my grandparents. Your sister definitely should let you become the caregiver if she isn't up to it.
